As a North Carolina native with deep roots, Courtenay's enthusiasm for her community combined with her intimate knowledge of the area helps her connect with clients to ensure that they find the perfect home for their unique needs. Courtenay is a proud UNC Chapel Hill grad and has a master’s degree in Art and Architecture. Her commitment to our community developed during her previous career in local nonprofit management and fund raising, where she advocated for local arts groups and the revitalization of Raleigh's downtown. Courtenay began her real estate career working in new home sales which broadened her appreciation for both the building process and the growth of new communities in the area.
Courtenay shares her grandfather's passion for architecture (as an architect, he contributed to the original designs for Village District – formerly known as Cameron Village). She and her two teenage boys love living within walking distance to this favorite neighborhood destination that he was a part of designing years ago.
